Special Event - Shavuot Study Night on May 14

Picture
Tradition tells us that on Shavuot, the holiday commemorating the giving of the Torah on Mt. Sinai, you're supposed to stay up all night and study. Tradition also tells us to eat cheesecake.

On Tuesday, May 14 from 6:30 to 11pm at the DCJCC, we are joining forces with EntryPointDC and other community partners for a lively night of Jewish learning on a broad array of topics. We've got a great line-up of classes and interactive workshops ranging from yoga to theater to social justice to Torah and more!

And of course, we take that order to eat dairy seriously. We’ll also have traditional Shavuot treats, including cheesecake and an ice cream sundae bar. For more details, and to make a donation, please click here.
